About the Pageant

 

 

The San Antonio United America Pageant's mission is to instill confidence in its contestants by allowing them to cultivate leadership and communication skills. Under the directorship of the founding national owner, Miss Annette Rushing, the San Antonio state preliminary pageant is directed by Nicole Erwin, owner of PageantLink and a former title holder with the United America system.

Enjoy a year promoting the city of San Antonio and compete for the state crown. The pagent is open to ANYONE IN SAN ANTONIO and the surrounding areas including New Braunfels, San Marcos, Corpus Christi, Del Rio, and Austin and surrounding areas. If you are outisde of these areaa or know someone who is interested in competing, E-mail the national director for more information about "at large" positions for the national pageant in Austin.

Age Divisions

  • Jr. TEEN – 13 to 15 yrs
  • TEEN – 16-18 yrs
  • MISS – 19-25 yrs
  • MS. – 26 & up (single, divorced, widowed)
  • MRS. – 21 & up

Areas of Competition

  • Interview (40%)
  • Fashion Wear (25%)
  • Evening Wear (25%)
  • Photogenic (10%) judged from contestant picture
  • NO Swimsuit
